8-30-07 From Kevin

Gratefully, I've had this question a lot lately from Reality Parents show listeners and blog readers. Well, as the picture to the right showcases...we've been a bit overwhelmed with building our house and achieving the hardest part, securing the final building permit and financing. We are acting as our one General Contractors, we we've done absolutely everything from scratch. Today, we find ourselves with:
- Construction loan to pay for it all
- Building permit to make us legit
- Electricity
- Water
- Septic
- 1 camper, 2 midsize RVs and a big 5th wheel for temp living (even though we've decided to keep our current residence through the winter)

Next...the foundation. Then the structure and the straw bale walls...hopefully before the high mountain blizzards come!

We really intend to get back on the bandwagon of Reality Parents shows and blogs every week...shortly.

Meanwhile, we are growing and learning so much as a family. Been spending so much time with other families too, and we have a lot to share.
