6-7-07 (35 minute show)
Everyone would love a formula for fixing every parenting issue, but it's just not possible. Kids are different. The principles can remain the same, but the 'how' is often a mystery. Take the little boys in the picture for instance. One has a pair of boxers over his head, the other..."Son...you got a panty on your head." What's the formula for that?!

Just finished listening to the latest podcast. As a pharmacist and father of a 5 year old and 3 year old, we've gone through the teething stage as well. A couple tricks we've used is a piece of ice wrapped in a wash cloth or clean dish rag. The pharmacist side of me says use Ambasol or a homeopathic product called Humphrey's #3.
I also enjoyed the movie review as it is difficult to find a movie that can be entertaining to kids as well as adults.

I'm a believer in some medicines, but we never found one that helped the teething. The ice and rag...sometimes. Ian liked chewing on the handle of one of my screw drivers for a while...
