I'm About To

I'm About To...

This song was sent to me by a well-known national radio personality whose name I won't attach to it. It was intended for a workplace slant, as you'll hear. But as I don't work in an office and have no one to get irritated with except for little people who may make too much noise while I'm intending to earn a buck (or browsing online for discount outdoors equipment)...I took the chorus with a different perspective. So I'll set a different premise than what you'll hear in the audio.

When you're with your kids who are out of control...when you're trying be Pollyanna, while inside you are deciding to not only buy more birth control, but actually invest in the manufacturing corporations...sing this chorus to your kids. By the time you're done, you'll feel better, and they should be sufficiently stunned enough to have calmed down. And of course if they are not...then sweetly take them to the wall, do what you sang about, then give them a big ole' hug afterwards! If that doesn't work, repeat the cycle...

Dan Miller:

Kevin,

Hey -- the site looks awesome. This is way cool.

When I clicked on the listen to podcast now -- I didn't see anything happening. It took a very long time to load and I thought it just wasn't working. I went on to some other things and then it finally popped up. You might want to tell people that it's going to take a little bit.

I'd have to disagree with Dan about the length of the podcasts. I think the idea is that this is similar to a radio show that you can upload on your ipod and take on a jog. I think 30 minutes is a good length!

Hey Kevin and Teri,

You two are "living it forward" in one of the most important roles in life...PARENTING. I love this site! I laugh, I sigh, and I nod my head in agreement.

Thanks for everything,
Kent
